One-to-one book strategy session with Chantal Cooke
Writing a book? About to be published? Or perhaps your book was published a while ago and you’d like to give it a boost…
Whether you’ve written a fiction or non-fiction book it’s important to tell the world about it – let them know what you have to offer and why they should buy your book. Without making a noise it’s unlikely to sell many copies.
This half day, one-to-one strategy session will take you through all the options relevant to you and your book. Together we’ll decide what will work for you, your personality (likes and dislikes when it comes to promotional activity) and your book. The session is completely tailor-made for you and what you want and need to get out of it.
We’ll look at all the options and together we’ll make a plan. If you’re not sure how to approach a certain activity – I’ll take you through it and explain it step-by-step. I’ll do my best to answer any and all questions you have about the book marketing process, how bookshops work, how to get your books listed, how to boost sales on Amazon, how to get booked for talks and signings, and what to include on your website to ensure your book sells.
This session is suitable for all authors, wherever they are in their book journey.
If you’re still in the early writing stages, then this session will help you build your author platform and ensure that once your book is published it has the best chance of selling. If you’re hoping to attract a traditional publisher – then we’ll cover that too and develop a strategy that will make you more appealing.
If your book is about to be published, then we can focus on making the most of the launch and developing a strategy to ensure that your book continues to get in front of potential readers for many months to come.
It’s never too late to promote your book. If you want to give it an extra push, or you’re feeling a bit despondent about the box of books languishing under the stairs, then together we can develop a strategy to give your book a boost and increase sales, or develop other ways your book can work for you.
These sessions are all about you. There is no one-size-fits-all strategy – so we’ll work together to create a strategy that will be effective and manageable and will suit you, your personality and your resources.
All sessions are four hours and are usually held face-to-face, however remote sessions can be facilitated via Skype or phone.
